And now... I am so glad that this 1 1/2 year swap has come to an end! I enjoyed it very much, and I love al the pages I received, but... it is time to make felt for myself again now :)

Felting 6 placemats, fitting the curtains of my Friend Martin, was the project for this summer:


(so this is the room with the curtains)
I found some leftovers of the curtains in the attic, and since it was cotton, I thought it could be nice to use them for some nunofelting. I cut them up in six equal pieces and then started to felt them. I wanted them to be all different.









So this is a table (in my house, not his yet) with all six:



I liked it a lot to be working on them. Had been a long time ago since I had been felting with this mucht inspiration!

this fabric page I made for Carole in april, her theme was 'fantasy':




Then, in may, I made a fabric page for Marja M, here theme was "doors":


(someone had just found the key to open the door of my heart that month - so this was the only thing I could make at that moment :) )

And then, in june, I made 'big bang' for Marja B.
(as one cannot see in this picture, the rays are made of glow-in-the-dark threads).




I received some more 'tsjilp, miauw, piep, kwaak"-pages.

They became with too many so I had to come up with something to display them. This is wat is hanging on the door in my livingroom right now:



So, we had a summer-stop. But by the end of september I have to come up with a fairytale for Ingrid.... So it's time to get to work :)
