Felting 6 placemats, fitting the curtains of my Friend Martin, was the project for this summer:


(so this is the room with the curtains)
I found some leftovers of the curtains in the attic, and since it was cotton, I thought it could be nice to use them for some nunofelting. I cut them up in six equal pieces and then started to felt them. I wanted them to be all different.









So this is a table (in my house, not his yet) with all six:



I liked it a lot to be working on them. Had been a long time ago since I had been felting with this mucht inspiration!

this fabric page I made for Carole in april, her theme was 'fantasy':




Then, in may, I made a fabric page for Marja M, here theme was "doors":


(someone had just found the key to open the door of my heart that month - so this was the only thing I could make at that moment :) )

And then, in june, I made 'big bang' for Marja B.(as one cannot see in this picture, the rays are made of glow-in-the-dark threads).

March's fabric pages have been sent! Both Marije (who made one for me in the theme 'meow, peep, ribbet, tsjilp") and me (I made one in the theme 'country life' for Hennie) had sheep as the main idea - very funny!
is is the one I made - my idea of the perfect country life is having your own sheep in your own backyard so you will never ever run out of wool to process :)
